 ഭാഷകൾക്കതീതമായ വായന 

വായന ചിന്തോദ്ദീപകമായ പ്രവർത്തനമാണ്, അറിവിന്റെ സ്രോതസ്സും. സാമൂഹിക, സാമ്പത്തികമേഖലകളിലെ വളർച്ചയും വികാസവും നാം അറിയുന്നതും വായനയിലൂടെയാണ്. വിശാലമായ കാഴ്ചപ്പാടുകളും വായന നമുക്ക് സമ്മാനിക്കുന്നു. വ്യക്തികളിൽ ആത്മവിശ്വാസവും ആശയവിനിമയശേഷിയും നിർമിക്കുന്നതിൽ വായനയ്ക്ക് വളരെ വലിയ പങ്കുണ്ട്. വായന എന്നും ഒരു അസാധാരണ അനുഭൂതിയാണ് നൽകുന്നത്. നല്ല സാഹിത്യ സൃഷ്ടികൾ നമ്മെ ഒരു അത്ഭുത ലോകത്തേയ്ക്ക് തന്നെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു പോകുമെന്നും പറയാറുണ്ട്. അത്തരം കൃതികൾ മനുഷ്യനെ സർഗ്ഗാത്മകമായി ദൃഢവും വിശാലവുമായൊരു ലോകത്തേയ്ക്ക് നയിക്കുന്നു.

ഭാഷ ഒരു സംസ്‌കാരമാണ് എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ വായനയെ നമുക്ക് സംസ്‌കാരം എന്നു തന്നെ പേരിട്ടു വിളിക്കാം. മാറ്റത്തെ വിഭാവനം ചെയ്യുന്ന മനഃസംസ്‌കാരമാണ് വായന. പഴയതിനെ നവീകരിക്കുകയും പുതിയതിലേക്ക് നമ്മെ നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു. ഭാഷ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നതിലും സംസാരിക്കുന്നതിലും വായനയിലൂടെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന അറിവിന് പ്രാധാന്യമുണ്ട്. സൃഷ്ടിപരമായ പ്രവൃത്തികളുടെ അടിത്തറ രൂപം കൊള്ളുന്നത് വായിക്കുന്ന രീതിയെ അടിസ്ഥാനപ്പെടുത്തിയായിരിക്കും. ചുരുക്കത്തിൽ ഒരു വ്യക്തിയുടെ സമൂലവ്യക്തിത്വത്തെ രൂപവത്കരിക്കുന്നതിൽ വായന വലിയ പങ്ക് വഹിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

ഭാഷകൾക്കതീതമാണ് സാഹിത്യവും അതിൻ്റെ ആസ്വാദനവും. ആ സർഗ്ഗാത്മതയേയും വായനയേയും പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് നമ്മുടെ വായനക്കൂട്ടത്തിൻ്റേയും നാട്ടുപച്ചയുടേയും പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യവും. ഭാഷകൾക്കും ദേശങ്ങൾക്കും അതീതമായി വളരുന്ന കുട്ടികളുടെ സർഗ്ഗാത്മകതയുടെയും ആസ്വാദന  മികവിൻ്റേയും തെളിവാണ് അവരുടെ, മറ്റു ഭാഷകളിലെ രചനകളുടെ വായനയും ആസ്വാദനവും. അത്തരത്തിൽ രണ്ടു വായനക്കുറിപ്പുകളാണ്  ഇന്നത്തെ നാട്ടുപച്ചയിൽ പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തുന്നത്.

9 E യിലെ ദേവിക എ തയ്യാറാക്കിയ, ശ്രീ ആർ കെ നാരായണിൻ്റെ 'മാൽഗുഡി ഡെയ്സ്' എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിൻ്റെ ആസ്വാദനമാണ് ആദ്യത്തേത്. സാങ്കൽപ്പികമായ ഒരു ഗ്രാമമാണെന്ന് എഴുത്തുകാരൻ പറയുമ്പോഴും അതിൻ്റെ ചിരപരിചിതമായ ചുറ്റുപാടുകൾകൊണ്ട് മാൽഗുഡി എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തേയും അവിടുത്തെ ജനങ്ങളേയും യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമെന് കരുതി വായനക്കാർ സ്നേഹിച്ചു. ഈ അപൂർവ്വമായ ഒരു ഭാഗ്യം സിദ്ധിച്ച സാഹിത്യകാരനാണ് ആർ.കെ. നാരായണൻ. ആ മാൽഗുഡിയെ പശ്ചാത്തലമാക്കി അദ്ദേഹം എഴുതിയ കഥകളുടെ സമാഹാരമാണ് 'മാൽഗുഡി ഡേയ്സ്'.

അടുത്തതായി പരിചയപെടുത്തുന്നത് 5 Dയിലെ കൊച്ചു കൂട്ടുകാരിയായ അനുഷ്ക തയ്യാറാക്കിയ 'ഫൂളിഷ് ലയൺ' എന്ന പുസ്തകത്തിൻ്റെ വായനക്കുറിപ്പാണ്. കുട്ടികൾക്ക് എളുപ്പത്തിൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കാൻ സാധിക്കുന്ന, അവർക്ക് ധാർമ്മികതയുടെ മൂല്യങ്ങൾ പകർന്നു നൽകുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടം ഗുണപാഠകഥകളുടെ ശേഖരമാണ് 'ഫൂളിഷ് ലയൺ'.

Malgudi days by R.K Narayan is a collection of short stories. The book includes thirtytwo stories all set in the town malgudi located in south india. Most of the tales in malgudi days are remembered from previous times, readers would get the feeling that they were in malgudi in real life. The stories are written with Narayan's simple style. Narayan, in his introduction say 'I have named this volume Malgudi days, in order to give it a plausibly geographical status i am often asked' "where is malgudi". ''All i can say is that it is imaginary and not to be found on any map. If i explain that malgudi is a small town in south india i shall only be expressing a half truth.for the characters of malgudi seem to me universal." This is a book which has a great collection of stories and morals. Every one must read this book. It is very good and easy to understand. Malgudi days attract readers interest very fast.

FOOLISH LION
