The book which considered one of the ten best books of twentieth century and the most translated book 'The Alchemist ' was written by the famous brazilian writer 'Paulo Coelho'
The Alchemist is the story of a shepherd boy named Santiago from the spanish region of Andalusia. His parents wanted him to become a priest but, he liked to travel the world so he became a shepherd. One day he saw a dream that he go to the pyramids in egypt and find treasure. To find this dream was true he said everything about his dream to a gypsy women She told the dream was true and charged one -tenth of treasure if he find it. He saw a old man named Melchizedek the king of Salem the old man help him to find his treasure then give advice to the boy 'When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it' the boy exchanged six of his sheep for two precious stone Urim and Thummim from the old man. He reached egypt and robbed by a young man. He started to work in a crystal shop. He goes to Al-fayom oasis and got a company of english men later they joined the caravan and reached Tarifa the boy became love with a girl named Fatima and found a alchemist. The alchemist help Santiago to reach his destiny and told a story about dreams. And in the end of the story the boy finally find his treasure. His life and his path had always provided him enough omens.After getting the treasure he thought It's true; life is really generous to those who pursue their destiny.
This book is really a motivation to everyone to reach their destiny. 'There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to acheive ; it is the fear of failure '
